January 4, 2006—The 2005 National Ergonomics Conference and Exposition (NECE), which took place in Las Vegas in December, broke records on a number of fronts with nearly 1,400 attendees doing business with over 120 companies exhibiting ergonomics products and services, according to event organizers. Attendees’ Choice Awards were presented at the conference to four exhibiting companies.
Twenty-seven exhibiting companies entered their office, industrial, construction, healthcare, and other solutions for judging in this year’s NECE Attendees’ Choice Awards program. The exhibit hall featured the first-ever Attendees’ Choice Awards Product Pavilion, offering attendees a comprehensive view of the diverse products vying for the 2005 awards.
The 2005 Attendees’ Choice Award winners are:
- ErgoGENESIS RSS2407 chair,
- Herman Miller’s Celle seating solution,
- Neutral Posture’s NeXtep stool footrest, and
- WorkRite Ergonomic’s SwingArm flat panel display mount.
ErgoGENESIS, Herman Miller, and Neutral Posture have now won multiple Attendees’ Choice Awards since the program began in 2002. Former winners also include Details a Steelcase Co., Fox Bay, Humanscale, Jupiter Sun, and Remedy Interactive, says NECE.
