National Safety Council marks 10th national safety month in June

June 26, 2006—The National Safety Council is marking its 10th National Safety Month in June, with the theme of “Making Our World a Safer Place.” Activities throughout the month have been addressing safety risks and include injury prevention tips for the workplace, driving, the home, and the community.

The Council has designated the week of June 12 to emphasize workplace safety. The NSC’s National Safety Month site contains information about the safety month, as well as numerous safety tips, products, posters, and multimedia programs.
