June 21, 2004—Cadena topped all entries in the Best of NeoCon category Textiles: Drapery, Cubicle, Shades. Created by Suzanne Tick for KnollFabrics, Cadena exemplifies technically advanced material development offering both elegance and function. It is made of high-tenacity polyester originally from the marine world (snails and ropes), which has the innate capacity to withstand even the harshest conditions.
The name Cadena, which means “chain” in Spanish, describes the heft and weighty drape of the textile that has been specially knit in a non-stretch construction. Cadena is available in three colors: blanca, crema, and gris. It is 100 inches wide.
