June 25, 2003—Brayton International was awarded a Best of NeoCon Gold for Switch Executive desk seating. Designed by EOOS/Walter Knoll of Germany, Switch uses a minimalist design approach to promote comfort and durability. Built-in performance features are simple to use and include: pneumatic height adjustment, synchro tilt, dual position forward tilt, multi-position tilt back lock available in mid-and high-back versions. A high-back version is also available with an adjustable headrest. For comfort, the design incorporates a coil spring pack in the seat with a webbed back over its steel frame. Eighty-five percent of the product contains easily recyclable metal and aluminum. Components are minimized without compromising comfort or style. Large slightly tapered armrests are detailed from top to bottom with a minimalist approach to a useful design element.
Lightly polished aluminum arms and base deliver refinement with custom-designed casters that integrate the chair cylinder into the base. COM list prices start at $1,750.
