NeoCon ’04: Allseating’s Vye was created for those with limited budget

June 18, 2004—Allseating introduces Vye during NeoCon, at The Merchandise Mart, Chicago, during NeoCon, and calls the office chair is for those “with discerning taste but a limited budget.”‘ Vye has its trademark knit sock stretched over a flexible steel frame. It has an optional adjustable lumbar pillow that can be slipped into the knit sock with ease. Designed by Alex Harley, Vye was engineered to conform to individual preferences without the addition of complicated mechanisms. Additional features include a simple back design available in two frame finishes, silver and ebony, plus a Synchro tilt control that creates a smooth tilting action while allowing the user’s feet to remain on the floor. Allseating says the affordably priced chair lists under $500.00.
