June 21, 2004—Dauphin North America introduces the generous proportioned seating, Cloud, a swivel chair that, says Dauphin, is attractively priced. The chair was designed with individually control knee tilt and height adjustment. There is also an easy-to-reach front tension knob. Over its special soft foam padding in the seat and back are upholstery options of fabric, leather, or COM (customer’s own material).
Dauphin’s upholstery techniques do not require glues that might harm the ecosystem. An added bonus: this also allows for easy, on-the-spot steam cleaning. In addition, Dauphin’s new manufacturing facility produces three times more seating with half the disposal costs; scraps are re-used or disposed of sensitively, explains Dauphin.
