March 24, 2008—Merchandise Mart Properties, Inc. (MMPI) has announced the 2008 schedule for its NeoCon shows in Chicago, Ill.; Baltimore, Md., Los Angeles, Calif., and Toronto, Ont., Canada.
The exhibitions allow attendees to view the latest products and trends in the contract furnishings industry. MMPI has been managing and producing NeoCon World’s Trade Fair since 1969 and regional NeoCon shows since 1998.
The premier event, the fortieth annual NeoCon World’s Trade Fair, will be held June 9 through 11 at The Merchandise Mart in Chicago. It will once again feature cutting-edge products from more than 1,200 companies, the finest educational seminars, exceptional keynote presentations, and unique show components, such as the Buildings Show, Office Expo by Office Furniture Dealers Alliance (OFDA), NEWHospitality, Fine Design Residential Furnishings Show, GREENlife, The Architectural Stone and Ceramic Tile Exposition (ASCTEX), and TechnoCon.
IIDEX/NeoCon Canada, which attracts over 15,000 attendees and features more than 385 exhibitors from across Canada and the US, will be held at September 25 and 26 at the Direct Energy Centre, Exhibition Place, in Toronto.
NeoCon Xpress, the West Coast’s top contract furnishings show for interior design and facility management, will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center, October 2 and 3.
And NeoCon East will be held October 29 and 20 at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore. NeoCon East showcases interior design, architectural and facilities management industries of the Mid- Atlantic region, with a special focus on the Federal Design Community.
FMLink is providing the Internet Lounge at NeoCon in Chicago. Besides having high-speed Internet access, all furnishings have a sustainability theme.
