June 30, 2004—A classic toy, the Etcha-Sketch, provided the inspiration for Atlas Carpet Mills new design, Spyro, which was voted one of four Editors’ Choice Award during NeoCon 2004, at The Merchandise Mart, Chicago, in June. Gyrating motifs are expressed in a variety of textural effects, superimposed and shadowed. New technology allows for extraordinary scale, adding to the drama of this striking pattern. Solid construction paired with careful yarn styling enhances sophisticated color placement and ensures that Spyro will add interest to any interior space.
