June 6, 2005—The Brayton Healthcare Collection addresses the needs of patients, caregivers, and facilities management by providing refined ergonomics, ease of use, and site renewable high-wear components, says Brayton.
A unitized seat/back frame and suspension tensioning system provides comfort that comes from its inherent flexing motion while facilitating simple, on-site cover rotation and replacement, Brayton notes.
Performance features include a breathable, knit suspension system that reduces pressure points and heat build; stress reducing passive independent seat and back flex; site reversible or renewable upholstery or mesh; and site reversible/renewable armcaps. Further adding functionality are broad armrests that extend to facilitate ingress and egress along with mobility wheels, and an ottoman with storage area.
There are 70 models in the Cura collection. Patient, tandem, and beam seating models are available in two seating widths, 2l” and 24″. Laminated maple veneer, Plastisol, or laminate arm caps can be specified. Laminate or maple veneer tables can be freestanding or ganged; benches can be specified in wood laminate, or upholstered.
Starting COM list price for Cura is $1,290 for the Midback Patient Chair/Upholstery, Seat and Back.
