June 24, 2005—To keep up with the changing use of the workplace, Steelcase has added new products and enhancements to Elective Elements that provide innovative solutions for private offices and open office plans. Among the enhancements are new worksurface shapes, storage products, tables and technology solutions, and height adjustable casegood solutions.
To accommodate the shrinking footprint of the private office, Elective Elements has added a variety of products that optimize the horizontal and vertical planes including higher and narrower towers, a variety of overhead storage options, organizer shelves, stackable bookcases, worksurface shapes, and attachment options.
For its enhancements, the wood furniture system garnered a Gold award in the Best of NeoCon competition held at The Merchandise Mart, Chicago, in June.
