June 20, 2005—Interstuhl’s Silver Office and Conference Seating Collection, which won a Gold award in the Ergonomic Seating category in The Best of NeoCon competition, represents a clear departure from more traditional chairs, says its famous designer.
The collection was designed by top Hamburg, Germany, architect Hadi Teherani, with Ulrich Nether and Hans-Ullrich Bitsch.
According to the company, the “the form of these chairs and that of conventional office chairs are literally worlds apart,” and Hadi Teherani says Silver is “the first office chair for the 21st century.”
The elegant and unmistakable aluminum monocoque design has transparent castors or glides, plus controls that are neatly integrated in the design can be operated with ease, the company says.
Three office and three conference chairs are supplemented by a stool.
