June 20, 2005—Zoom Seating has introduced Champion, a composition of fluid lines and streamlined performance, says the company. Designed by Boston designer Sava Cvek, Champion’s subtly angled perforated backrest flexes with the body to promote a healthful posture. A pronounced contour in the height adjustable lumbar region offers additional back support, according to Zoom Seating.
Constructed of lightweight, durable glass and resin material, Champion’s back flexes with the body and can be ordered with charblack resin, upholstered lumbar, or a fully upholstered back pad.
Champion is also offered with an elastomer mesh that provides flex and support—its interwoven mono- and multi-filaments enable the backrest to conform to the body while retaining its original shape.
Champion versions are available with ergonomic controls and articulating arm caps that let users fine-tune their comfort.
The new Champion seating line was introduced during NeoCon at Zoom’s Merchandise Mart showroom. Zoom Seating is a division of Jami, Inc.
