NeoCon’06: PolyVision demonstrates “world’s first” remote diagnostic program for interactive whiteboards

June 26, 2006—Polyvision, a Steelcase Company, demonstrated PinPoint Remote Diagnostics, which it calls the world’s first remote diagnostic program for interactive whiteboards. The demonstrations took place in the Steelcase showroom during NeoCon’06.

PolyVision’s PinPoint is designed to help classroom and boardroom activities stay on track by quickly and efficiently linking remote training and support personnel directly to any PolyVision interactive whiteboard product.

PinPoint allows a dealership or PolyVision support personnel to remotely view any written text on any PolyVision interactive whiteboard as well as the internal readings of the touch sensitive system. Dealerships can now operate more effectively and improve customer service by allowing them to reduce travel to remote locations; train and operate an interactive whiteboard on-demand, located anywhere in the world; offer rapid troubleshooting time; provide live support and access for all customers.

PinPoint is designed to operate with all Walk-and-Talk interactive products including the interactive whiteboard, interactive panel, and flat screen module, as well as the TS Series interactive whiteboards.
