June 22, 2007—Bretford, Inc., introduced its new Free Evolve family of workstations during NeoCon World’s Trade Fair in its showroom at The Merchandise Mart, Chicago.
Free Evolve Tabling System features five designs: Mini desk; Maxi workstation; Multi workstation; and Returns. They can be configured into structured or organic formations for use primarily in office environments, either as individual or collaborative workspaces.
Free Evolve products, says Bretford, can be used effectively in schools, universities, and even public touchdown points within a facility. Their adaptive modular design and tool-less accessories make them easy to set up and reconfigure, while the special low-fiction glide pods allow easy movement across office carpet and flooring for quick workspace relocation.
The Free Evolve Tabling Systems feature wrap-around shapes that bring everything within reach while the curved frames maximize leg space. The Mini desk style can be used for call centers or “short stay” applications in libraries or classrooms. Midi is a multi-purpose, space-efficient workstation that is ideal for most office applications, particularly those that “nest” several workspaces together.
The Maxi workstations incorporate desks and “meeting spaces” for an executive office or public reception area. It is designed as a replacement for a traditional 90-degree desk and supports larger flat screens and other electronics equipment. Finally, the Free Evolve Returns serve as secondary work surfaces and extend the available work area of any Free Evolve desk.
The Free Evolve line incorporates screens and accessories that move easily to suit working and communication preferences without the need for technical experience. Free Evolve’s fully mechanical height adjustment handle helps tailor the desk to an individual’s needs, and the line’s privacy screens can easily be moved to another desk without tools.
