May 2, 2007—Building on its successful launch of Medio Conferencing at last year’s NeoCon, Halcon, a Teknion company, is debuting the Medio Casegoods Collection, again designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill.
As with the earlier Medio products, the Casegoods Collection anticipates a wireless future but accommodates the wired world with data drawers integrated into the tabletop construction. The furniture will be available in a wide variety of configurations, veneers, and finishes, allowing FM specifiers numerous ways to satisfy the diverse needs of users, says the company.
The Medio Casegoods Collection will be a major display in the Halcon showroom during NeoCon, the major commercial/institutional furniture and furnishings event held annually in June at The Merchandise Mart in Chicago.
The debut of the Medio Casegoods Collection will coincide with the grand opening of a new Halcon showroom, in Space 1044 of the Merchandise Mart, Chicago. The showroom is designed by Vanderbyl Design.
