NeoCon’07: izzydesign’s Hannah swivel tilt chair is Editor’s Choice; Audrey scales up or down

June 25, 2007—The Hannah swivel tilt chair by izzydesign was honored with an Editor’s Choice in The Best of NeoCon competition. Small in scale, Hannah has evolved from a stacking caf and conference chair to an office swivel-tilt action, and it offers a fun sense of openness, says izzydesign.

Hannah’s high-performance polypropylene seat and back are perforated by elliptical shapes that help circulate air to keep the user cool. The Hannah backrest can double as an armrest as the user moves around, say its designers Dennis Foley and Jeffrey Gershune.

Hannah, supported on a sturdy metal frame, has a pneumatic seat height and tilt tension adjustment. The chair’s set and back tilt as a unit. The upright tilt lock and arms add seating stability.

Audrey, also introduced at NeoCon, is a cabinet, a console, and customizable shelving, display and storage all rolled into one, explains izzydesign. Audrey’s modular cabinets are the building blocks for mix-and-match furniture flexibility. Audrey measures from 29 inches to more than five feet high. Secured without tools or fasteners on an anodized aluminum base, full assemblies of Audrey range from 4 to 8 feet wide. Work tables and are part of the line.

Audrey fits in well for private or open plan offices, and can be “dressed up or go casual,” says the company. Audrey’s standard materials selection includes 16 laminates—matte or polished, four veneers, and clear, frosted, or printed glass options.

All of izzydesign product lines are GREENGUARD certified.
