June 9, 2008 EPISODE, a new furniture line by Loewenstein, was designed by John Stafford and Chris Carter with a combination of materials and understated elements that support one another yet have unique characteristics, striking a balance between design, function and value, says the company.
The EPISODE collection includes arm and armless lounge seating in one, two, and three-seat options, guest seating and benches with both upholstered and wood detail. Occasional tables round out this striking collection and are available in wood grain or high-gloss lacquer finish.
Clean lines, single needle stitching, and a polished aluminum base with satin details create a fresh approach to this timeless European-inspired design.
Recycled aluminum, a BioFlex hybrid foam option and a reduced carbon footprint through locally sourced materials, support Loewenstein’s long-term environmental philosophy. Being proactive toward the environment inspired Loewenstein to combine three advanced technologies: electrostatic finish application, the use of ultraviolet finishing materials, and high powered ultraviolet curing to develop the most modern and efficient finishing system in the industry. Loewenstein offers a selection of GREENGUARD certified seating.
EPISODE and other new products will be displayed in the Loewenstein showroom at the Merchandise Mart, Chicago, during NeoCon World Trade’s Fair, June 9-11.
