NeoCon’08: New carpets from Tandus feature rich color combinations

June 9, 2008—Tandus introduces a major extension to one of the company’s best-selling collections, Grande Illusions Series. Tandus says the collection has become an industry standard, leading the movement to larger scaled, multicolor patterns for commercial interiors. This modular-broadloom series is specifically packaged and positioned to appeal to large public spaces. Colorways include rich combinations of turquoise, robin’s egg, mint and chocolates, and charcoals, black and navy.

Also on display in the Tandus Showroom at The Merchandise Mart is Travertine, which recreates stone in multi-colored, textured broadloom, influenced by one of the most frequently used stones in modern architecture. Like stone, Travertine broadloom and modular carpets come in a 19 colors, ranging from grays to coral-red, and it has both high and low piles to reflect the texture of stone.

Tandus displays both series in its showroom at The Merchandise Mart during NeoCon World’s Trade Fair, June 9-11.
