NeoCon’08: Peter Pepper uses sustainable materials for major accessories

June 9, 2008—Peter Pepper Products, Inc., a leading manufacturer of ancillary furniture products for healthcare, corporate, education/institutional and hospitality interiors and exteriors, has introduced Fresh Ideas and SyncTECH. All are manufactured with sustainable materials, says the company.

The ancillary furniture in these lines encompass a patient room Guest Center and Message Center, and also includes wall mounts called Parallel. All have contemporary designs.

The patient room Guest Center, designed in collaboration with HDR, provides an adaptable environment for family, caregivers and visitors, says the company. It combines a work surface with storage, task light and power receptacle for convenient phone, laptop and MP3 charging. Its modular panels accommodate options including specialty materials, tack panels, writing surfaces, and areas for mounting a flat-panel monitors, artwork or accessories.

To meet the specialized needs of hospitality designers and end users, the Guest Center provides a functional work environment for lobby, guestroom, mixed use space and business center applications.

Patient communication is improved with the Message Center. By integrating a glass writing surface, analog clock, shelf and pen storage, the Message Center reduces clutter while using a minimal amount of wall space.

Parallel enhances the overall convenience and comfort of patients, caregivers and visitors with a modular system of products that support what people do everyday: personal communication, display and storage. Designed by David Ryan + George Simons, Parallel mounts horizontally or vertically to accommodate any space. Panel choices include glass writing surfaces, tack boards, mirrors, coat hooks, TECH wireless time technology system for facility-wide time and emergency messaging.
