June 29, 2009—Inscape’s Tisch system made its U.S. debut at NeoCon 2009, in Chicago. Tisch is an award-winning European-designed table-based system that promotes interaction, collaboration and communication. Tisch is a furniture solution that supports a variety of benching, casegoods and conferencing applications.
A small set of modular components and a rail system allow Tisch to easily migrate from desking to benching to conferencing applications, says the company. Tisch can also adapt for individual and traditional applications. A comprehensive cable management system provides fast and easy access to power and data. Accessory rails, organizer units, desk screens, filing trays and shelves help users to work more efficiently.
Various tabletop shapes combine with smart cable management to make work convenient, notes Inscape. Sliding tops easily unlock and move forward to allow access to power and data cables at any point of the cable tray. Cables are routed vertically in attractive cable casings that are connected at either end of the cable tray. With patented aluminum pressure-cast clamps combining longitudinal bars with the leg frame, multi-functional Tisch is easily assembled: all fasteners can be undone with a simple Allen key. Table frames are easy to assemble, dismantle, relocate and can link up to form a variety of new workplace configurations.
A variety of desk screens and partitions can be organized to provide visual and acoustical division for concentrated individual task work. These privacy elements provide a multi-faceted, additional worksurface that can be organized with a wide range of add-on elements including tackable and magnet boards, shelves and trays to increase functionality.
Tisch will be manufactured at Inscape’s production facilities with strict adherence to minimizing the impact on the environment.
