The Sela Lounge Collection was developed in response to a need for college and university lounge seating that encourage non-traditional seating styles. Most colleges provide lounge furniture in many areas of campuses in hopes that students will engage in collaboration and learning outside of the classroom. Traditional lounge solutions developed for more formal business settings or even residential grade products are typically used to address this need. As a market leader in education solutions, KI recognized an opportunity to address students’ desire for a product that is comfortable, adaptable and stylish and also fits within an administration’s budget. Chairs in the Sela Lounge Collection feature a relaxed posture and larger size to meet these preferences. The reclined seat and back offer extra comfort and give students the option to sit sideways.
