June 28, 2002—NetBrowser, which provides monitoring solutions, has expanded its e-Guardian solution into the EMC Advanced Solutions Center of Excellence in Cork, Ireland. This move expands NetBrowser’s presence in Europe. Because the e-Guardian database is hosted on EMC’s Symmetrix, the Advanced Solution engineers can perform live system backups from a mirrored copy of the data. The e-Guardian has enabled customers to manage their enterprise-wide critical power, environmental, fire safety, and physical security machinery via a standard Web-browser from anywhere.
