May 16, 2003—ARCHIBUS Inc., developer of facilities and infrastructure management solutions, has released ARCHIBUS/FM version 14—fully compatible with Autodesk’s AutoCAD 2004, giving users increased flexibility when working with drawings and their associated facilities and infrastructure information.
By leveraging the drawing tools from AutoCAD, ARCHIBUS/FM Version 14 makes it easier to view, update, maintain, and share information. AutoCAD features can be invoked from within the ARCHIBUS/FM environment for integrated text and drawing reports. New productivity tools include a Multiple Drawing Interface, enhanced drag-and-drop functionality, true color support for graphic data, and increased text options. ARCHIBUS/FM version 14 also offers various options for personalizing reports with different colors, sizes, and drawing options.
Current ARCHIBUS/FM users who participate in the company’s annual software subscription program receive the enhancements upon request, with no additional charge. End-users with previous versions of ARCHIBUS/FM can upgrade at a fee.
