Ariba Ready is a new business-to-business program from Ariba, Inc., a leading business-to-business (B2B) e-Commerce platform provider. The program is designed to help ensure smooth business integration and seamless interoperability between buyers, market makers, and suppliers accessing the Ariba Commerce Services Network (Ariba CSN). The program indicates the level of technical integration of suppliers connected to the Ariba CSN, enabling buyers and market makers to identify and select appropriate organizations with whom to trade. Ariba Ready uses a well-defined process and consistent measurement standards, which Ariba developed in conjunction with Arthur Andersen, to validate the level of integration.
To qualify for Ariba Ready status, a supplier must demonstrate scalable processes for managing digital transactions between the Ariba CSN and their eCommerce environment. To date, over 30,000 selling organizations are accessible on the Ariba CSN, including such diverse companies as Teknion, Haworth Inc., Herman Miller, Cisco Systems Inc., U.S. Builder Supply, Compaq Computer Corp., ISG Office Concepts, Inc., Software Spectrum, Steelcase, Staples Inc., Barnes&Noble.com, and Manpower Inc.
