Wallace Wireless, the US-based developer of wireless crisis communication software, has announced the release of the Wallace Emergency Locator (WEL). WEL combines powerful mapping technology from ESRI Technologies with global positioning systems (GPS) location-based services.
With the Wallace Emergency Locator, BlackBerry users can see the locations of key team members plotted on a single map. With one click of the BlackBerry handheld, users can request and receive back a map with highlighted team member locations.
The Wallace Emergency Locator works internationally with ESRI Technologies, a leading provider of GIS-based maps.
