New data based on BOMA’s EER benchmarks 4,000 properties

November 4, 2002—The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International has introduced a set of products based on its 2002 Experience Exchange Report (EER). This year’s edition (based on BOMA’s 1999 Chart of Accounts) features operating income and expense data on almost 4,000 public and private sector commercial properties throughout North America. The book contains over 500 pages of benchmark data including:

  • Line-item expenses for cleaning, repairs/maintenance, utilities, administration, leasing, and more;
  • Breakdowns on city, private/government, downtown/suburban, and building size;
  • Expanded submarket (zip code) breakouts; and
  • Occupancy data in four ranges to help identify how occupancy levels affect individual line-item expenses.

BOMA’s Experience Exchange Report (EER) is now available in CD-ROM, Network, and the traditional printed formats. The new Web-based EER for 2002 allows the user to interact with the data and to create instantaneous graphs, charts, and tables containing the data selected, all compatible with MS Office applications.
