June 16, 2003—EcoLogic Systems has launched their ADAM Field Companion, a Tablet PC-based environmental data collection and management software. The system provides environmental consultants and health and safety program managers with a more efficient way to collect and manage field survey and sampling data for asbestos, lead-based paint, indoor air quality and chemical inventories.
To simplify OSHA and EPA compliance, the ADAM Field Companion provides a variety of reports and documents. Data can also be broadcast over a companys Intranet system using the ADAM Web Companion, so locations of hazardous materials in buildings can be accessed throughout an organization.
The ADAM Field Companion is designed for organizations such as school districts, colleges, property management firms, public agencies, and large corporations who must collect, maintain and process large amounts of environmental and occupational health and safety information for each of their properties to meet regulatory requirements and reduce risk.
Additionally, the system was designed for use by environmental consultants who perform asbestos, lead-based paint and indoor air quality investigations.
