April 24, 2006—The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has added a new environmental health page on pesticides in its Spanish-language portal. “El medio ambiente y su salud” discusses health and environmental issues associated with the proper use of pesticides, and contains informational resources in Spanish and English.
The page is updated regularly with new information on developments and policy. Since its launch last year, the Spanish-language site has covered such issues as asthma, mold, and carbon monoxide. The site will feature other environmental issues such as green technology and drinking water in the near future.
