New ISHN report offers help for workplace noise reduction

February 15, 2002— Industrial Safety & Hygiene News (ISHN) recently published a report stating that ten percent of the US population suffers some degree of hearing impairment, and giving guidelines for compliance with OSHA’s noise exposure standard (29 CFR 1910.95) and for reducing workplace noise.
