April 26, 2004—Bird-Xs bird repeller now features an option for unusual space configurations or areas divided by walls: up to four remote speakers to stretch sound farther. QuadBlaster QB-4 repels unwanted birds using ultrasonic sound so as to eliminate the expense, mess and disease they cause property, products and employees.
Four Piezo ceramic speakers project ultrasonic waves in an overlapping fan pattern for 360 coverage. The frequency level irritates birds, but is inaudible to humans. QB-4 is efficient: speaker sequencing, frequency, and warble rate are adjustable for virtually any situation making it difficult for birds to acclimate.
QB-4 uses less energy than a 10-watt light bulb—simply plug it into a 110 vAC outlet (220 vAC unit available). This compact unit with no moving parts mounts in any direction—pside down, right side up or sideways—to cover 6,500 square feet.
QuadBlaster QB-4 is designed for use in an enclosed or semi-enclosed areas like industrial, commercial, government or school buildings, loading docks, railroad sidings, airplane hangars, warehouses, boathouses, farm buildings, gabled roofs, arenas, or any area where the sound can reverberate well.
In addition to the QuadBlaster QB-4, Bird-X supplies a full line of environmentally friendly bird and pest control products. QB-4 is available immediately at $495.00; optional remote speakers at $67.50 or $225/ set of four.
