July 15, 2005—A new, free Web site, SecurityUserForums.org, is dedicated to facilitating support of end user and industry practitioners of access control, video surveillance and physical security systems, according to its creators.
This non-commercial Web site is dedicated to fostering information sharing and resources on products, services, technologies and techniques for security practitioners, administrators and directors of corporate, government, educational and institutional facilities.
The goal is to provide a free online venue for professionals to share lessons they have learned, help resolve support issues, keep abreast of technology advances, and improve the management and day-to-day operations of their respective security operations to support their organizational mission.
SecurityUserForums.org is developed and administered by Middleware Associates, a company of security industry experts who develop open systems software solutions for the interoperability of security systems with other enterprise management systems. For more information, see the Web site.
