December 13, 2004—SFW’s latest version of Accendo, a Web-based graphical mapping platform, gives FMs, security personnel, engineers, maintenance teams, and other professionals who support a facility’s infrastructure integrated control over all facility assets and information throughout the organization, saving time and money.
Accendo is an easy-to-use graphical tool designed to improve overall operational efficiency by ensuring that facilities professionals have complete control over key assets such as office space, plant equipment, and emergency and safety elements. SFW customers retrieve, store, and manipulate information directly onto the organization’s floor plans and maps, capturing the most updated facility information possible.
Accendo runs on a simple browser that allows immediate, virtually real-time access. Using SVG (Scalable Vector Graphic) as its graphical engine, Accendo provides continuous, high-resolution images of maps and floor plans, accurate location of assets and related information, and exact measurements of distances and area.
Accendo modules include:
- SFW FM: FM solution that includes space and move management, asset management, and engineering components
- SFW Controller: security, safety, and emergency preparedness solution
- SFW IT: IT management solution that focuses on IT assets and IT infrastructure
- SFW Incident: incident-reporting solution that records the precise location of incidents as they occur within and outside an organization.
As an ASP, SFW enables users to select and use only the functions and modules they need, thus providing flexible pricing options. As it is Web-based, Accendo is available to anyone in a customer’s organization, requiring no additional licensing fees as roles and responsibilities change.
