ENCAD (Nasdaq NM: ENCD) announces the newest of its wide-format color inkjet printers, the CADJET 3D, a premium printer for today’s technical designer/architect. The CADJET 3D provides very fast, high quality color printing for 3D modeling, CAD renderings and GIS/mapping applications.
Built on the recent technology advances of ENCAD’s newest NovaJet( printers, the CADJET 3D is a 36 inch (0.142 meters) printer that boasts high quality 300 x 600 dpi color printing at extremely fast speeds of 210 square feet per hour (sfph)(19.5 square meters per hour) in Super Draft Mode. Using ENCAD’s new MicroBurstTM inkjet technology, the CADJET 3D can quickly print exceptional color engineering drawings without sacrificing quality. In fact, the CADJET 3D will print a 2′ x 3′ full color plot in 1 min. 40 sec.
The CADJET 3D is versatile enough to handle the demands of today’s CAD, GIS, and architectural applications. The CADJET 3D Windows driver, called V/R XpressTM, provides capabilities to view, RIP and print HP-GL/2, HP RTL, EN RTL, Postscript Level 2, EPS, and PDF file formats. V/R Xpress can process and convert plots from vector to raster at high speeds. The V/R Xpress is fully supported under Windows 95, 98, NT 4.0 and 2000, allowing designers to output from virtually any Windows application. The ENCAD AutoCAD drivers support both HDI (Heidi Device Interface) and ADI (AutoCAD Device Interface) drivers. These drivers enable customers to gain all the productivity and abilities offered with AutoCAD 2000, AutoCAD LT 2000, AutoCAD Rel. 13 and 14. These AutoCAD drivers support Windows 95, 98, and NT operating systems.
