June 7, 2002—Ultrak, a manufacturer of integrated access control and closed-circuit television (CCTV) security solutions, and NICE Systems, a producer of multimedia digital recording solutions, recently announced that Australia’s Parliament House has chosen the NiceVision Pro digital video recording system to interface with its existing Ultrak CCTV management system to provide enhanced protection to Parliament members and employees.
NiceVision Pro’s real-time (twenty-five frames per second) digital video recording capability enables Parliament House’s security team to monitor and record simultaneously all the cameras deployed throughout the premises twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
When fully installed, the NiceVision Pro and Ultrak systems will interface with Honeywell’s Enterprise Buildings Integrator, resulting in one of the world’s most sophisticated and integrated security solutions found within a single facility.
