December 26, 2007—NoFire Technologies, Inc., and Woodtone Building Products of British Columbia, Canada, have agreed to a two-year supply and purchase agreement, with options for an additional three years, for the exterior wood trim market in North America. Woodtone Building Products, manufacturers of RealTrim and one of the largest manufacturers of exterior wood products in North America, has agreed to purchase a minimum of one half million dollars NoFire Paint, in return for exclusivity in the solid sawn wood product market, upon receiving a Class A flame spread rating.
“The alliance between NoFire and Woodtone Building Products strategically positions the companies as suppliers of exterior wood products that comply with tough new and projected fire codes for residences in California and other western US states, as well as Canadian Provinces,” states Dr. Sam Gottfried, President and CEO of NoFire Technologies, Inc.
“These new products are designed to eliminate the dangers of wildfire spread by airborne embers, a major contributor to property loss in recent wildfires.”
