July 29, 2005—North American Video, a leading security systems integrator, has been awarded a $1 million expansion to the video surveillance and security system at the Tulalip Casino in Marysville, Washington. The focal point of the extended system will be the capability to record and control up to 612 cameras over a digital network within the 227,000 square-foot facility.
Owned by the Tulalip Tribes, a federally recognized Indian Tribe, the Tulalip Casino, opened in early 2002 and is one of the largest gaming facilities in Washington State.
A networked digital solution for this casino was one of the first priorities discussed last fall when North American Video was awarded the contract to supply video surveillance and security systems to the Tulalip Tribe Casinos, said Cynthia Freschi, President of North American Video. This new highly advanced digital recording system opens the door for more highly integrated solutions as the Tribes entertainment complex grows.
