April 19, 2004—After the recent announcement of acquisition of Aerobiology Laboratory Associates facility in Cary, NC, EMSL Analytical, Inc., the largest network of AIHA accredited indoor air quality testing laboratories in the nation, announced their Raleigh, North Carolina facility has received the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) accreditation of TEM Air and PLM bulk samples for the analysis of asbestos.
A National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) accreditation ensures a laboratory has continued consistency with international standards and guidelines, specifically those currently found in ISO/IEC 17025.
