Notifact and Com-Trol to develop wireless HVAC monitoring system

Notifact, a provider of wireless equipment monitoring, and Com-Trol have agreed to develop and market Notifact-ready “plug and play” communications for Com-Trol’s Energy Management and Control System. The Notifact Wireless Monitoring System (WMS) will provide bi-directional communications capabilities to the Com-Trol System. Notifact WMS provides real-time monitoring of HVAC/R equipment without dedicated phone lines by applying Internet server and wireless technologies.

“Plug and play” connections will enable every alarm point configured on the Com-Trol System to be communicated wirelessly, direct to Com-Trol ‘s Integrated Services Bureau or facility managers via pagers, cellular phones, faxes and e-mail. The patented, web-based alarm notification system will be completely configurable at the Com-Trol website. The Notifact alert message will provide location, equipment identification, and the specific alarm conditions at the site. Notifact’s technology will allow Com-Trol system owners to remotely configure and send commands to the system via standard web browser or WAP communicating device.
