NREL launches energy innovations newsletter

August 7, 2009—The U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) has launched a newsletter about its recent innovations and accomplishments in science and technology.

Stories will cover research, technology development, and analysis in solar, wind, geothermal, biomass, hydrogen, transportation, and building technologies, as well as improved electricity delivery, storage, and end use. Stories will also cover the translational scientific research that underpins NREL’s research and development, including basic and computational sciences.

Energy Innovations will be published three times per year. The spring 2009 issue focuses primarily on renewable electricity and building technologies. The fall 2009 issue will focus on the successful partnerships across all of NREL’s science and technology areas.
