January 9, 2006—The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has provided the National Safety Council’s Safety+Health magazine with OSHA’s list of their most violated health and safety standards for fiscal year 2005 (October 1, 2004, through September 30, 2005). According to Safety+Health, the list usually contains the same violations from year to year, with slight changes in the order.

- Electrical wiring (1910.305)…………………………. 3,077 violations
- Machine guarding (1910.212)………………………. 2,956 violations
