August 13, 2007 — Agion Technologies, Inc., a worldwide leader in naturally-safe, silver-based antimicrobial solutions, has announced it’s partnership with Omnipure, the world’s premier supplier of inline carbon filtration components.
Omnipure will now feature Agion’s antimicrobial technology in its line of Omnipure carbon block water filters and patented Aquabond technology to gain better tasting and sediment free water, the companies said.
The Aquabond and carbon block filters featuring Agion can be used in all fluid processing markets including residential filtration, food service, commercial and industrial applications.
By adding Agion to its filters, Omnipure is now able to provide its customers with an effective, low cost solution to inhibit the growth of mold, mildew and fungus in carbon filtration applications, the companies say.
