March 28, 2007—Omnova Solutions has launched a premium styrene acrylic floor care polymer, Mor-Glo 2007, designed to formulate polishes with outstanding “pop” when burnished and superior wear between burnishes and long lasting durability to reduce the frequency of strip-outs.
These polishes, points out Omnova, provide the “wet look” desired by many high-end commercial polish users and improve the appearance of the floor between maintenance intervals. The Mor-Glo polymer is ideal for odor-sensitive, high-traffic environments such as hospitals, schools, and grocery and retail stores.
In addition to the excellent esthetics and improved durability that may be achieved with Mor-Glo 2007, says Omnova Solutions, the product promotes easy application of polishes, thanks to Omnova’s proprietary PolyFoxT fluoropolymer. With the inclusion of the environmentally preferred PolyFox material, no additional fluorosurfactant needs to be added to the polish formulation, says the company.
