One in four users don’t protect PDAs with passwords

May 27, 2002—The unregulated use of personal digital assistants (PDAs) by employees could leave business secrets exposed, warns a new survey. The survey, commissioned by Pointsec Mobile Technologies and Infosecurity Europe, reports that one in four users don’t protect their PDA with a password, even though over a third store confidential corporate information and use it to access their corporate networks.
