April 14, 2003—Onset Computer Corp., a provider of battery-powered data loggers and weather stations, has introduced HandCarEX, a new version of the company’s popular HandCar data transport software for Palm handheld computers. The new software provides a convenient way to offload HOBO data loggers at deployed locations without interrupting logging operation, and transport the data to a host PC for graphing and analysis. A range of Onset’s latest products are supported, including HOBO LCD data loggers, the HOBO Water Temp Pro data logger, the fifteen-channel HOBO Weather Station, and the four-channel HOBO Micro Station.
HandCar EX software, which is bundled with Onset’s HandCar 1.1, is currently available for shipping for $40.
