OptiLED unveils submersible, color-changing, high-brightness LED units

April 15, 2005—OptiLED has introduced a powerful, compact, and efficient LED system that is usable indoors, outdoors, or even underwater, the company says.

The latest product in the company’s Modular Optical Array (MOA) Series, the MOA H-7, is suitable for a variety of projects, including interior accents, flood lighting, architectural highlights, landscape effects, theatrical and stage productions, and underwater applications like fountains and pools.

Its weatherproof and submersible housing, a DMX512 interface, and rotation on three axes for precise focusing make the MOA H-7 ideal for designers, specifiers, and systems contractors looking to create a range of primary color lighting, says OptiLED.

A line voltage power supply and power consumption of only 25 watts per system allow the MOA H-7 to provide a low maintenance, low power solution for those applications in challenging locations, adds OptiLED.
