OSHA develops online training tool for eye and face protection

July 8, 2002—OSHA has developed a new eTool on its Web site for issues related to eye and face protection. The eTool addresses proper use and selection of proper protective equipment (PPE) for eye and face protection, as well as employers’ responsibilities and OSHA requirements.

According to OSHA, thousands of people are blinded each year from work-related eye injuries that could have been prevented with the proper selection and use of eye and face protection.
