June 21, 2002—The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) announced June 12, 2002 that it is extending the application deadline for $6.6 million in training grants from June 21 to July 5, 2002. The grants will be awarded to organizations that propose to educate workers and employers in small businesses; non-English speaking workers, and workers who are employed in high-hazard industries and industries with high fatality rates. Applications are available from OSHA.
