OSHA publishes online factsheet for working outdoors in summer heat

July 7, 2003—The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has published a new factsheet, Working Outdoors (PDF file, 75 KB), to inform employers and employees about potential hazards in their workplaces during hot summer months, and how to manage them. The publication contains information and advice on protecting outdoor workers from heat, sun exposure, ticks, and other summer hazards.
