Owens Corning and Armstrong World Industries, Inc., have formed a strategic alliance that will lead to the transition of Armstrong’s Soundsoak(R) Acoustical Wall Products to Owens Corning. Under the terms of the agreement, Armstrong will continue to manufacture the Soundsoak product line, and Owens Corning’s Acoustic Systems Business will assume responsibility for product line strategy, sales, and service. Both companies have expertise in creating acoustic system solutions. Owens Corning is a world leader in building materials systems and Armstrong World Industries is one of the largest manufacturers of interior finishing solutions.
The agreement will be a seamless transition. Orders for Soundsoak products can be placed toll-free with Owens Corning at 1-866-SOUNDSK, while Armstrong will continue to manufacture and ship the product. Sales, marketing, invoicing, and technical support will all be handled through Owens Corning representatives. Soundsoak products can be ordered through both the Owens Corning and the Armstrong distribution networks.
