GSA and the Small Business Administration (SBA) forge unique partnership for Javits-Wagner-O’Day negotiations when the New England Region’s eight-member negotiating team launched several initiatives in the janitorial arena to reduce expenses, partnered with service providers, and achieved savings of approximately $1.3 million. The service providers included NISH (National Industries of the Severely Handicapped) Workshops and 86 Small Business, Minority Set-Aside Contractors.
